GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind FRIDAY
Happy Friday everyone. Today I need to venture out into the world after two days of complete rest. Talked to my oldest son last night. Apparently he found out about my surgery through the grapevine and called to ask how I was doing. He works as an emergency preparedness technician at one of the hospitals here and he was having dinner with one my derm's assistants. Anyway, today is stitching on "Tea Time" and contemplating a 4th of July project. Twin Peaks Primitives has some really cute patterns. Have a good Friday and for those still working, enjoy the upcoming weekend!

Enjoy cross stitich
Well I don't write much on here. But I read people stitching , surgery, and sad for people losses. So here I go. I had a fusion of hip and pelvic bone ( back ) done yesterday as out patient. Did great no pain as of now. But one thing I did before surgery was get me a lot of cross stitches thing ready to do. So I am happy camper now. And I have a lot of other pattern I want to make too.

Outpatient Procedure Today
Hello friends. This morning I had a procedure done for an ingrown toenail. This is the first time I've had this done. Luckily, I took a pair of sandals to switch out from my tennis shoes. The self-stick wrap the tech used on my toe is bright red (think DMC 321). Afterwards, I had banking business that could only be done inside. Since the heat is on, I'm wearing shorts. I have my injured left finger in a brace and my right toe wrapped in red in sandals for all to see. Friends, I'm a hot mess! 😔

May 2024 WIP (Work In Progress) 'Show and Tell'
Hello everyone! It's the beginning of a new month, when we always (for almost 4 years now!) have been sharing the WIPs we've been working on, or have completed, in recent weeks.
Post a photo and brief description (pattern name + designer or publisher). If you prefer not to post a photo or have difficulty doing it, just tell us in words!
Lowe’s, and my last nerve
I ordered 2 things, one they had in store…one that said available for pick up May 2…I have received 4 notifications that part of my order is ready for pickup, and if I don’t pick it up within 7 days they will cancel and return to stock…and the other item is “in route” since 5:30 this morning from a location that is less than 40 miles away…
Pattern question
I am looking for advice on this pattern. Do you think I could stitch this on black fabric and leave the background out? Please honest feedback. Like leave the trees out but do the snow where he is lying
Messy Backs....
Hello friends, okay here's one for you....do you have a messy back? Or a neat back? Or do you care?! I seem to have a propensity for knots, so my backs tend to be on the messy side. BUT- I do not care, because no one ever sees it AND my work on the front is beautiful, and that's all that matters! What about you?!

Good Morning
Genesis 41: 42- 57
42 Then Pharaoh took his signet
ring off his hand and put it on
Joseph's hand; and he clothed
him in garments of fine linen
and put a gold chain around his neck.
43 And he had him ride in the second
chariot which he had; and they
cried out before him,
"Bow the knee!"
So he set him over all the land
of Egypt.
44 Pharaoh also said to Joseph, " I
am Pharaoh, and without your consent
no man may lift his hand or foot in all
the land of Egypt."
Have a bless day!

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind THURSDAY
Good Thursday morning everyone. Thanks to all of you yesterday sending your good thoughts and energy. I'm feeling much better this morning and probably won't need to take any Tylenol. Today I'll probably pull out a small project, thinking of the Mill Hill kit "Tea Time". I love working with beads. No cooking tonight so it's leftover stir fry. Have a good Thursday!

Is this pattern counted cross stitch? And is every space used, meaning is it a solid cross stitch design?
